What Made You Finally Trust a Website Enough to Buy From It (5 views)

I was shopping online a few days ago and noticed something interesting. I opened two websites selling almost the same products, but I closed one within a few seconds because it looked outdated and difficult to use. The other one felt clean, fast, and trustworthy, so I stayed longer and actually completed my purchase. That made me realize how much good design influences our decisions without us even noticing. Later, I started reading about design simplify and found several ideas that explained why simple layouts and better user experience matter so much. I also spent some time looking at the work from Design Simplify, and it reinforced the idea that visitors don't just judge products—they judge the entire experience. Since then, I've been paying more attention to website design whenever I browse online. I'm interested in hearing from others here. What makes you instantly trust a website, and what design mistakes make you leave without buying anything? I think this could be a helpful discussion for everyone building or improving a website.
