Patrol needs a serious refresh after Liwa trip – sand everywhere (6 views)

I just got back from an incredible weekend in Liwa with some friends, but my Patrol is absolutely wrecked inside and out. The exterior has some fine scratches from the desert brush that I'm hoping can be polished out, and the interior is honestly a disaster zone. There's sand in places I didn't even know sand could reach – under the seats, in the door pockets, somehow even inside the center console. I've spent hours vacuuming and I still can't get it all out, especially that fine powdery dust that seems to cling to every surface. I'm thinking it's time to finally hand it over to professionals who understand how to properly clean an off-road vehicle that's been through the desert. I was looking at https://exoticcarcare.ae/nissan-patrol-detailing-abu-dhabi/ and it seems like they actually specialize in detailing these big SUVs which makes sense given how many Patrols are on the road here. I'm hoping they can do a full interior extraction to get all that hidden sand out of the carpets and fabric, plus a thorough exterior wash and maybe some paint correction for the desert stripes. Has anyone here taken their Patrol to them after a desert trip? I'm curious how thorough they are with getting sand out of all those little crevices that are impossible to reach on your own. Also wondering if they offer any kind of undercarriage wash to get the sand and dust out from underneath. Would love to hear any experiences before I book it in.
