Looking for CV Writing Help in Ireland: Where Do I Start? (14 อ่าน)

Hi everyone,
I’ve been job hunting in Ireland for a few months now and I’m getting nowhere. I’ve sent out dozens of applications and heard back from almost none of them, even for roles where I meet most of the requirements. I’m starting to think my CV is the problem rather than my experience.
I’ve rewritten it several times using free templates and online guides, but I honestly can’t tell whether it’s any good. Every time I change something, I’m just guessing. I’d really like an experienced second opinion, or someone to help me write it properly, but I’m not sure where to turn.
If anyone has been through this, I’d love your advice on a few things:
Is paying for professionalCV Writing Help in Ireland worth it, or can I realistically fix this myself?
Do Irish employers expect a particular format or length, or is it similar to the UK?
Should I look for someone based in Ireland, or does it not matter if the writer is remote?
How much should I expect to pay, and what should be included (cover letter, LinkedIn profile, revisions)?
How can I tell a genuine CV writer from a template factory? Are there red flags I should watch for?
If you did use a service, how long did it take before you started getting interview invitations?
A bit of background: I have around five years’ experience in my field and I’m hoping to move into a more senior role, so I need a CV that shows achievements rather than just a list of duties. I’m also applying through online portals a lot, so I’d like to be sure it gets past the automated screening.
Any honest feedback, good or bad, would really help before I decide whether to spend money on this.
Thanks in advance!
