Front camera fogged up from the inside, can these be opened and dried or is it sealed for life (8 views)

The surround view camera on the front grille of my 2018 X5 has gone all hazy and blurry like there's condensation trapped inside the lens itself, and the image on the iDrive is now about as useful as looking through a shower door. I've cleaned the outside lens cover thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a microfibre cloth hoping it was just road grime, but the fog is definitely on the inside of the glass which means moisture has found its way past the seal somehow, probably from pressure washing the car too enthusiastically or just years of heat and humidity taking their toll. A replacement camera from the dealer is eye watering expensive for what is essentially a tiny lens and a chip, and I've seen a few videos of people baking headlights in an oven to open them up and reseal them but I'm not sure if these cameras are constructed the same way or if they're ultrasonically welded shut with no hope of repair. I was browsing https://bmw-garage.ae/ to see if there's a specialist who can source a good used camera and code it to the car, but I'd rather fix the existing one if it's possible since it works fine electronically, it's just the lens that's compromised. Anyone successfully dried out a fogged BMW camera without replacing the whole unit.
