Charger R/T 8 speed acting up at 130k and I'm hoping it's not the whole gearbox needing a rebuild (4 views)

My 2015 Charger R/T has been a proper workhorse for me since I bought it used four years ago, hauling me up and down the E311 between Sharjah and Dubai every single day without a single complaint, but just last week I started noticing this weird hesitation when I'm pulling away from a stoplight and the transmission feels like it's hunting for a gear for a split second before it finally engages with a bit of a jerk that I'm sure the cars behind me can see. I checked with the dealer and they're talking about a possible valve body issue or maybe the torque converter starting to go and of course the quote they gave me made my eyes water because it's basically a new transmission plus labor and I'm not sure the car is even worth that much at this point. A buddy from a local Mopar group on WhatsApp said I should check out some Dodge Transmission Specialists Sharjah over in Industrial Area 3 because they've got a good reputation with the LX platform cars and they actually rebuild these ZF 8HP units instead of just swapping in a used mystery box from a scrapyard and hoping for the best. I found a website Gear Box Repair Sharjah that seems to list my exact model and the common issues with the 8HP70 and I'm thinking about taking it in next week for a proper diagnostic because I really don't want to be that guy trying to sell a perfectly good looking Charger for parts just because the transmission gave up and I can't justify the dealer's price tag, anyone on here actually had their Hemi gearbox sorted by a specialist in Sharjah and can tell me if it's worth the trip and the trust?
